I think these pictures speak stronger than any argument about the war ever will. These soldiers are out there to make a difference and fight, it doesn't matter if they want to be there. Or if someone doesn't want them to be there, they are there. They show that they're human.

My kids are so cute. Samantha is watching tv dancing to the music that's on it. They both want to eat the Christmas tree decorations.
Sorry, I haven't been writing much, my head's been acting up. Not that anyone noticed or anything, but just in case you wanted an explanation. I'm supposed to see this new neurologist in like a week so hopefully that'll be good. I'm ready to at least get some sort of way to stop the pain while I have the kids. If I didn't have them I could just stay doped up all of the time. I do though ,so I don't.
Maybe life will be easier. I think having my wisdom teeth pulled may have started this mild attack that I've been having, not to mention Tony being two..lol. I just need a break from him. He's driving me crazy. I can't go to the bathroom without him crying at the door the whole time.
I've got to get him into some kind of day care here soon, if only for the interaction with the other kids. He wants someone to play with and he needs to learn how to play with kids his own age. I don't want him to go all day. Just a few hours a day so I can have a break and he can get out of the house and my hair.
I'm just afraid of him picking up bad habits from other kids, like hitting. He's a very good sharer and other kids his age usually aren't. I also want him and Sam to stay together. I just wish I could have someone come over with a couple of kids and watch them in the back yard. That way I could take a nap and if I was needed I'd be right there.
I think I probably need to have some separation from them so they'll realize I don't have to be there the whole time. Tony should start pre-k next year and it would make that easier on him. Oh, and if anyone has any suggestions on how to keep the kids out of the Christmas tree, feel free to share. Tony has already gotten a hold of one of my and Rex's presents and opened it today. No I can not keep my eyes on both of the all of the time. I know that sounds bad but it's just not possible.
Here's Sam and Santa, Tony wouldn't go for it at all.

New picture of my "Baby Sam", as her brother calls her. I tried to get a picture of Tony wearing some of those Bubba Teeth, but he wouldn't stay still for me to take one. He looked really funny though. |

Isn't it crazy how much you and your child can look alike. The top picture is me and the bottom one is Sam.Even though I'm a few years older in my picture I think the resemblance is still very noticeable. The pic of Sam is a few months old to. I wrote that poem years ago, but it means more to me now than it did to me then. |
